Yuletide 2025: Dear Creator

This year I have exclusively requested fandoms in which I am in love with EVERY character, including the minor ones. Please feel welcome to throw me a rarepair, something platonic between characters who rarely interact in canon, porn without plot, or queer readings of characters. If I talk about a character dynamic, please assume that romantic, sexual, platonic, and adversarial takes are all welcome.
My 2025 Battleship letter is still current and includes detailed likes and still-applicable prompts for most of the fandoms I requested. If a prompt there inspires you, absolutely go for it! I can't wait to be surprised and delighted by what you come up with.
The Chronicles of Chrestomanci - Diana Wynne Jones
Joe/Roger is my pet rarepair in this fandom. I think they felt seen by each other in a way neither had felt before. Romantic, platonic, sexual: it's all good here.
I also adore Conrad, alone or with Christopher and/or Millie.
And Cat! Oh dear. I'd love anything about his lingering feelings about Gwendolyn and/or Janet as time passes and he grows into himself. What kind of Chrestomanci will he be?
Father Brown (2013)
I am wildly obsessed with Father Brown and Flambeau's whole deal, but more importantly I think Mrs. McCarthy should shove Lady Felicia into a closet and have her way with her, or vice versa. Internalized homophobia, Catholic guilt, casefic, blood, and chains welcome. PLEASE DO abuse the seal of the confessional.
Leif & Thorn
My favorite character is Rowan by a country mile. I would welcome backstory, anything about his and Violet's friendship at any age, a pre-Archie one night stand, and of course anything with Archie.
I also love Violet and her relationship with Kallie and her family. SFW or NSFW exploration there would make my day. Maybe a scene where she and Kallie go back to the bar and flirt with others together? I'd also love a baking scene. They're adorable!
Anything about Kale, past, present, and future, is very welcome. So is wild theorizing about Katya and what she'll do next.
October Daye Series - Seanan McGuire
My favorite character is Simon. Past, present, future, with any character but especially members of his current or former family. I'd love to see what you think September was like, or his first wedding, or August's childhood, or his last uncomplicated conversation with Sylvester, or any moment along the way as he realized he was losing himself.
What does Marcia do in a day? What's she like when she's alone?
Any kind of October and Gillian story, or Gillian alone, would break my heart delightfully.
Wayward Children Series - Seanan McGuire
I love EVERY character. Please write about the one you're personally weirdest about. Failing that, Jack and Jill are my personal favorites. Complicated gender feelings and warped mirrors, my beloveds.
